ST. LOUIS GOLD
-Pring. Medium-sized plant producing citron-yellow flowers 7 to 8 inches across. Leaves 10 to 12 inches in diameter, dark green flushed chocolate-brown, fading green with age. Suitable for small pools.

N. scutifolia-Species similar to N. capensis, considered an offshoot by many botanists. Star-shaped blooms, sky-blue and fragrant.

. Shell Pink, a most attractive tropical, clear pink with large flowers. Sparingly viviparous.

SHELL PINK-Flowers clearer pink than General Pershing, large and firm, bowl-shaped. Leaves dark green flecked reddish-brown, reddish on underside. Sparingly viviparous.

STELLA GURNEY-Gurney. Star-shaped flowers of an even, light-pink hue.

N. stellata-Medium-sized flowering species, wild in southern Asia, Java, Borneo, and the Philippine Islands. Star-shaped, light-blue flowers in the species type with little or no fragrance.

rosea-Good variety. Slightly larger, soft-pink flowers.

N. Stuhlmanii-African species, small sulfur-yellow flowers, stamens orange-yellow, sepals a yellowish-green. Sweet scented.

N. sulfurea-Smaller African species, deep-sulfur shade, sweet odor. Seldom cultivated.

. Persian Lilac, one of the prettiest and most delicate of the blue tropicals.

SUNBEAM
-Pring. New viviparous variety with large, brilliant yellow flowers. Considered the most brilliant yellow among water-lilies.

TALISMAN
-Pring. Viviparous hybrid named for the red and yellow rose of the same name. Fine form. Highly viviparous.

N. vivipara-Generally accepted as same species as N. micrantha.

WILD ROSE
-Bright, solid, large-petaled, pink flowers with large golden center, stamens pink tipped. Leaves dark green flecked reddish-brown, light green flushed red below. Viviparous.

WILLIAM STONE
-Violet-blue flowers shaded amaranth.

YELLOW STAR
-Large, shallow, starlike yellow flowers borne well above the water, with relatively few, long, tapered petals. Leaves large and green. Excellent lily for mass display.

ZANZIBAR PURPLE-See N. capensis zanzibariensis.
